it is very difficult to find extra income nowadays...I am now get into agent for metal scrapping. So, last May 1 my group with our prospect buyer decided to go the place where the item is....old ferry vessel. I am so excited and pack my bag with extra underwear, shirt and short for possible....swimming course...hehehe it's been awhile...So, I get my car with my two buddies and other two (buyer) from Alabang area. Traffic is terrible going there. Only we have is the instructions going to this place. All of us are first timers, so we reached around 3 PM. So, sad the water is not healthy I mean is not clean...we met our contact guy and discuss the matter. I look around and see they have their own port, yard, men, goons, trucks, dump trucks. Probably, this is a big business of thier own and I look around (fron of thier yard) a quarry. chipping little by little on the side of the mountain. Well, I guess they have permission from the government. Anyway, back to the business. After few discussion, he instructed his men to prepare the boat for the occular of the vessel.
And finally, the boat is ready and so we are, We climb up and secure our place. The wind is getting stronger and I afraid that it may lead to bigger waves as we go along to the area. After 20 minutes, we reached the vessel. The travel is smooth and ok. Still intact but no life. She is totally scrap. I climb up and take some photos for reference. I took pictures starting from the engine room up to control room. Most of the parts were torn apart and cannibalized. After, I climd down to the boat and we are ready to go back. We rode back around 6PM and reach home around 9PM. Tired and exhausted. I realized that it is not easy and too risky. After all I thank God for all blessings and stamina (for driving to and from). We travel more less 300 km and traffic.
